Not all spas are manufactured to the exacting specifications of a Poseidon Spa. A spa is a long term investment, so it makes sense to buy the best quality spa you can afford. Poseidon spas are market leaders in terms of build quality. Here’s why…

Comfort and style

For maximum comfort and hydrotherapy benefit, you need to be able to sit or lay in your spa with the water level at shoulder height. The deep seats in a Poseidon spa are shaped to cradle your body and ensure you are fully immersed in the warm water.

With all our spas, we offer a variety of seat shapes and sizes, including loungers, so that everyone can find a seat to suit. Each of our seats and loungers has a different combination of jets for massaging different areas of the body.

We believe in giving you plenty of space to enjoy your spa experience. Unlike some of our competitors, we build our spas with spacious foot wells so that playing footsie is optional!

Construction

You can buy spas with either wooden or plastic cabinets. Most people prefer the look and feel of real wood but are concerned about maintenance and durability. Poseidon Spas are built using a superior resin cabinet, grey or brown with a unbeatable appearance of wood. No maintenance needed for this strong, solid but light cabinet that improves the total weight of the spa.

The shell of a Poseidon spa is vacuum moulded from Lucite Microban acrylic resulting in a smooth, comfortable surface with no sharp edges. The shell is treated with an antimicrobial product which inhibits the growth of bacteria on the surface which can cause stains and odours. This means your spa stays cleaner for longer.

To conserve energy and reduce running costs and noise levels, the interior of a Poseidon spa shell is insulated with foam. The cabinet is also insulated with a reflectex blanket, as is the pressure treated marine plywood base.
All of our models are fitted with an ozone generator. Ozone is nature’s most powerful disinfectant. Using ozone continuously enables you to run your spa with fewer chemical additives.

Performance and Control

It is difficult to evaluate the power of your spa’s jets and pumps without experiencing them for yourself. We recommend that you speak to a knowledgeable distributor who will be able to advise you about the best combination of the number of jets and the power of the pumps.

As a guide, we find that for a five to seven seat spa, 55 water jets and 12 air jets is plenty for the full hydrotherapy experience. Take note though…in a Poseidon spa, we count each discrete jet as ONE jet. It doesn’t matter if it has one, two or even six outlets, we count this as ONE jet. Don’t be fooled by claims of 85 or even 105 jets, as some manufacturers describe separate outlets as individual jets.

Each Poseidon jet has been ergonomically designed and placed in the perfect position for maximum effect. At the touch of a button you can tailor your spa experience to suit your mood. A conveniently located digital control panel allows you to alter the temperature, jet intensity and lighting – even the spa aroma or type of music and DVD you want to see if you choose those options.
